Channel Marketing Manager - Hatfield

Our very well established and professional Global Client is one of the UK’s leading Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Manufacturers. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team.

Main purpose of the Marketing Manager role:

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role is for a Marketing Manager responsible for all marketing to our client’s installer customers, along with management and development of the existing Partner Programme.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, driving and implementing marketing activity for the installer customers in order to grow market share and to deliver the business objectives
  • Creation of annual marketing plan to achieve the installer sales target
  • Responsible for all marketing communications to installer customers
  • Determine appropriate KPIs for all activity to meet and exceed campaign expectations
  • Work with department to develop sales support material and training to promote products to installer base
  • Management of Partner Programme marketing and developing this scheme to fulfil business objectives
  • Management of Partner Programme team to ensure all claims, applications and orders are processed according to guidelines and in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the marketing services team to ensure all insights are implemented for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights
  • Budgetary control of spend on installer marketing
  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager, or any more senior manager or Director.
  • Understand and comply with all relevant company policies

The ideal Marketing Manager should possess:

  • Significant B2B marketing experience, preferably within a similar industry
  • Excellent people management skills with proven ability to develop and a positive leadership style
  • Excellent business sense, commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Strong CRM experience and a good understanding of B2B partner programmes desirable
  • Ability to set priorities effectively and to work across multiple projects
  • Experience in developing a marketing channel desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence others across the business
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field desirable
