An opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Technical Support Specialist to join a well-established Heat Pump Manufacturer on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be supporting key account holders with Installation training and technical support. You will take the lead on repairing and or replacing Heat Pump components.

We are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer with exceptional fault finding skills who would relish the opportunity to work within Renewable Energy, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and experienced manufacturer of ground source heat pumps.

 Main Purpose of Job

  • Support key account holders with installation training and technical support
  • Train the customers on key functions such as filling and purging communal ground arrays
  • Offer training to key account engineers
  • Perform technical support and fault diagnosis via telephone or on site
  • Commissioning support
  • Repair/replace faulty heat pumps as necessary
  • Responsible for shipment of faulty parts
  • Offer technical support on all activities linked to post/pre installation

Person Specification:

  • At least 3 years’ experience and working knowledge of domestic heating system installation and maintenance
  • Experience with diagnostics of heating systems and boilers
  • Ground Source Heat Pump experience with a BPEC Installer qualification (advantageous)
  • F GAS / NVQ / Plumbing and Heating
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • Ability to write technical reports and risk assessments
  • SSSTS qualification / CSCS Card
  • Computer literate and conversant with MS applications
  • Asbestos Awareness training
  • First Aid at Work


  • Basic salary between £32,000 - £40,000 DOE
